Admission Process - Prakhar Modern School

1. Admission Enquiry

Parents/Guardians may visit the school office during working hours or contact us via phone / email for admission-related queries. Prospectus and Admission Form can be collected from the school office.

2. Eligibility Criteria

  • Nursery: Minimum age — 3 years as on 31st March of the academic year.
  • LKG / UKG: Age as per prescribed norms.
  • Class I onwards: Admission based on availability of seats and performance in assessment.

3. Submission of Admission Form

Submit the duly filled Admission Form to the school office along with required documents listed below.

Mandatory Documents

  • Birth Certificate of the child (photocopy) issued by the Municipal Corporation.
  • 4 recent passport-size photographs of the child.
  • 2 passport-size photographs of the parents/guardians.
  • Aadhaar Card photocopies of the child, father, and mother.
  • Proof of residence (electricity bill, ration card, passport, etc.).

Documents for Class I & Above

  • Report Card / Progress Report of the previous class.
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school (if applicable).
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable for SC/ST/OBC admission rules).

4. Interaction & Assessment

  • Nursery to Class II: Admission based on interaction with the child and parents.
  • Class III and above: Written assessment in English, Mathematics and subject-relevant areas may be conducted.
  • Parents may be called for a short meeting with school authorities to discuss the child’s needs.

5. Admission Confirmation & Fee

  • Selected candidates will be notified via phone / email / notice board.
  • Admission is confirmed only after submission of all documents and payment of Admission Fee + First Installment within the given deadline.
  • Admission remains provisional until all formalities are completed.
  • Fee structure details are available at the school office.
Important: Any false information or incomplete documentation may lead to cancellation of admission. All admissions are subject to seat availability.

6. Medical & Special Needs

  • Medical fitness certificate (if required) should be submitted at admission.
  • Please inform school authorities about any special needs or medical conditions so that proper support can be arranged.
